Upcoming Match: Allan Wilson vs Tigers

The Prince Edward Tigers Rugby team looks to continue their winning streak this Saturday as they take on Allan Wilson on Jubilee Field.

The boys were giving their all during this weeks practice and the chemistry within the team is on the high as well each player proving that it takes hard work to be part of the First Team Squad.

We are looking forward to another win from the team led by Coach De Souza who is building a well respected team and the players are showing signs of appreciating all techniques taught by Coach De Souza. We urge the Prince Edward students to come in their numbers as well continue their heartfelt support as they sing with immense energy songs to spice up the atmosphere.

Captain Takunda Chifamba will have to keep his troops on high alert because there will be no moment to relax. This rugby season has has been a journey of perfect practice leading to perfect wins. The Tigers Fly Half Tatenda Kamubvumbi has played a role of a servant indeed passing the ball down the line at the right time and is showing great responsibility for orchestrating the team’s attack and defence.

The forwards pack frontline which includes Academy Chauke as the prop are looking forward to hold strong their defenses just as they did when they played the match against Christian Brothers College. The backs are becoming a powerhouse back line and indeed the trick will be everything practiced, must definitely be presented within game time and we will strike another important win.
